When I talked to Fluid Marine about this problem, they said there is very little clearance between the hull and the cockpit deck in the area between the fuel tanks. In fact, the deck is glassed to the hull there at the transom so there is no space between the deck and the hull.

I had talked to Fluid Marine just as they were being sold to Seasport. Seasport had no obligation to take over the warranty, so I had to fix it myself. They was another long topic on the warranty issue.
I ended up following the advice Fluid Marine gave me. I get my service done at Cook...
Just got off the phone with Frank at C-Dory. I got the impression this deck/bilge hole problem is puzzling him. He had just hung up from talking to one of you about the same thing.
He said there are three foam stringers, supporting the deck and then "bubbles", a mixture of resin and something...

Got down to the boat yesterday and discovered a little more water in the bilge than normal.
After looking at the Rule 1100 gph pump, the impeller turned freely, but would not come on. It had a mysterious bulge on the top, something I don't recall.
Haven't had a chance to diagnose and see if...
If you are elgible to join, check out Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. I got a boat loan this summer through them. I can't remember the rate off-hand, but if I recall correctly, it was about 6.8%.
Thanks, John
