19 is in action; 25 in Leavenworth?

The 19 is really coming together finally. The low-speed jets are still partially blocked, but I'll get to that after crab season is over. We were in Leavenworth for the Lake Wenatchee sockeye season a couple of weeks ago, and that was a great time. We had two or three days of heavy wind...

19 angler is in my garage!!!

One of the main reasons I sought out the 19 angler instead of the 22 is because I wanted to keep it in the garage still. I'm happy to report that I have had success this week! The boat is on an EZ Loader 3-EZR 19/22-24 3700, which I'm told is the most stout single-axle trailer EZ Loader ever...

    Added 19-gallon to 16 cruiser

Hi everyone, Well, finally finished the project on the old 16 cruiser for the new owners, and got her delivered. I ended up doing the 19 gallon Moeller tank, and it was a pretty clean installation. Also did cockpit steps as recommended. Here's a photo of the final installation: I cut...

    Stupid motor question

Ha ha, heaven forbid an engineer would keep things simple... Somewhere on this site I once found someone who had mentioned a good book on the Honda BF90 carbs. I'm hoping to pull these off and clean them myself, and then re-sync. Any idea the name of that reference? Also, do you happen to...

    Stupid motor question

OK, here's a dumb one for you--on a Honda BF90, does fuel flow through the low-speed jets at all speeds, or only low speeds. In other words, when you are at full throttle, is the engine being fed by all jets or only the high speed jets? I ask because I'm needing to clean out the low speed jets...

    Rescue Tape!

Duluth Trading sells it in a 6-pack. They call it X-treme Tape and have had it for years. Might be cheaper, not sure? bmc

19 is here; misc part numbers needed

For the archives...the rails were made by Railmakers, and they're looking for the drawings for me. The inner rails sound like they mounted to the philips screws that hold on the roof rails. Also, it seems like the inner rails only are as long as the rearmost two screws. The roof rails were...

19 is here; misc part numbers needed

Just took a look at Spectrum on the C-Dory page. I have the light grey boat--any idea whether this is VIP Grey or Roberts Grey? Also, I presume "white" is the off-white that was used for the body of the boat? tx, bmc

19 is here; misc part numbers needed

Thanks a bunch Marc! That definitely helps. Byrdman--I hear you, and I definitely use mine year-round. But like you, I avoid the ramp/harbor on days like 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc. I am always amazed to see the stupidity come out in full force. Best one this year was when a guy in...

19 is here; misc part numbers needed

Got the "new" 19 angler home Sunday, after an uneventful trip. We put new tires on the trailer in LA, then made the drive easily up to Seattle. We passed truck after truck of Roma tomatoes, including one that showered us repeatedly with tomato juice. Another possible name: Tomato Express...

Making portable tanks permanent on a 16?

OK, along the lines of my last thread... How about strapping down the Honda tanks that are already in the boat, and adding a filler pipe to them? Any fittings to allow this? tx, bmc

    Permanent tank(s) on a 16 cruiser

Thanks bjidzik. Yes, balance is a concern. The 13 gallon is long and thin (32 x 10 x 10) and so my hope would be to keep it more or less centered, or slightly to port for when there's only a driver. Then have the battery to starboard. With it being an open tank (no dividers/bulkheads), it...

    Looking for advice/suggestions

I have to rise again to the defense of the 16. The 22 cruiser and the 19 angler have almost identical (fishing) cockpit sizes. They are about 50% larger than the 16 cruiser that I just sold. On said 16 cruiser, I ran dual outriggers, a crab pot puller, or two sturgeon lines with very few...

    Step stool for 16 cruiser?

Thanks Marty. I've found a really good tank that's 13 gallons, and has the filler at one end. The only problem is that I'd like to move the battery to the starboard side, and have the fuel slightly to the port side (it's a long and skinny tank, 32" long). However, I have a bracket in the way...
