This is so painful to see

Bob, While I was using public launch ramps, I think I saw failure to remove the transom straps slightly out number the drain plugs. :smileo It's only 1/2 mile from my house to the ramp, so I don't carry tie downs, or the spare. It's a different matter on the Hi-Way though. :wink

This is so painful to see

Don't put your finger into the trigger guard until you're ready to shoot. :smileo Don't unhook your safety chain, or unlock the winch until the boat is in the water...Simple as that. :wink

    1989 c-dory 16 angler

Welcome to the 16' Club. If the waves build up, just reduce your speed. The boat is a cork. I've gotten caught in a tidal change where waves were washing over the fore deck and I could only see through the windshield every other one, but I didn't take a bit of water in the boat. I...

    Crabbing

They make a small pulley assembly that fits into a, "Fish On" pole holder bracket. It will keep lines from rubbing a grove in your rub rail insert. I made one out of a trailer bow roller. :wink

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Yesterday, (With great effort) :smilep I lifted the 6 hp Evinrude off of Pocket Yacht's transom and took it into my garage for some much needed work. I hadn't used it in two years, other than to see if it would run and the tilt pivot was frozen up. :sad After several hours of heat and...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

It was what I had. Besides that, it rinses right off of the side of the hull and I wasn't in a frame to: "Pick the fly poop out of the pepper." :wink

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

I hauled out the Pocket Yacht, brought her into the yard and gave her a through pressure washing, inside and out. Laid the canvas out on a tarp in the driveway and gave it a through scrubbing, then I steel wooled the grunge line on the hull and finally pushed her off to the side for further...

I have a 50hp e-Tec on my 16' C-Dory Fisherman and I love it. :smile I carry a 6hp Evinrude kicker, two, 6gal fuel tanks and an 80 qt. ice chest full of down riggers and fishing gear. The ice chest also serves as an jump seat. With all of that, plus my crab and prawn fishing gear up in the...

    chartplotter

Have you ever tried Coastal Explorer on a laptop, or notebook? I use it on both boats as a laptop doesn't require any type of permanent mounting, just a 12Volt outlet.
