we get a little under 4mpg at 4000 rpm 20mph . We have a venture cc-23 weight of boat is 3000lb plus merc115 CT 370lb plus anchors,batteries and 50gallons of gas so we are over 4000lb for sure .Going through no wake zones here in SW Fl. At 1500rpm we get a little over 5mpg .

The VST tank and pump should not get gunk in there if you mantain your filters and watch where you fuel up NO ETHANOL gas I hope your mechanic can fix or clean out the VST for you .Also check the fuel pickup screen and make sure there is no air sucking in pickup tube . I had a fuel problem...
