We did what Joe (Sea Wolf) suggested with our 22. If someone wanted to push the sliding seat aft, build a small platform and use the seat backrests as cushions, a 7' er could probably sleep there.

We just bought a Ford F150 supercab 2.7 L eco-boost for both an RV and our C22. Towing is rated at 7600#. It got 22.9 mpg on our first long distance trip; we were not towing anything on that trip. We will see how that drops when we start to tow. The 2.7 L has a surprising amount of power.

I agree with Peter about Twin Bridges; pricey but convenient. I would be surprised if they could accommodate your sailboat unless your keel is retractable.
