Sorry for the delay Martin. There is plenty of clearance from the twins and the trim tab. I chose the starboard side to offset the full water tank and I prefer to operate the kicker with my left hand.

Hey Chuck, great point about the tilt lock. We have to wrap our 6hp tohatsu tilt lever to keep that from happening on our boat. I don't think I would want to buck a strong chop in a remote area with our 6hp for very long.
Karl.
If I were going to slow cruise with a kicker I would stick to at least an 8 hp. A twin cylinder 8hp is going to be much smoother than a single cylinder 6 hp.
Happy boating,
Karl
Well, I've got the gear for one setup so that's good. Is a pattern nessesary or will a couple lines out due? I'll start reading some threads on bloody decks too.
Thanks.
I would be interested if it is out of Westport. I would likely only be able to make the weekend. If the weather was right I would be down with heading out super early Saturday and coming in Sunday. What kind of gear do you reccomend?
Thanks,
Karl
Congrats on the 32 GB. It's one of the boats on our to look at list. Sounds like a good layout. There certainly is a lot of up and down on some of the boats in that size range. Look forward to hearing what you like and don't like.
Happy cruising.
Karl
Another nice evening at Blake island. Not too crowded, dinner on the BBQ and some Bocelli on the stereo. Yeah, winter! Oh, is it just me or is dinner much better on the boat in the off season?
