    Power Trailer Dolly

I had the 4 wheeled Powermover for many years. Surface must be asphalt, does not work very well on gravel. Surface should be level, when turned OFF it will free wheel ( no braking ). Used it with the 23' and the 26' Olympic boats, it does not turn on a dime do to the tandem axle twist resistence...

    Frustrated!

I did not use a Digital Yacht AIS, but I have used there USB adapter cable. Which had green and yellow little led lights at the USB plug. They would flash indicating the AIS sending or receiving data. My laptop had to be told what communication port the AIS was plugged into. For me, it was a...

    Arima to C-Dory - advice?

As I sit here typing this, I am looking out my dining room window at Rosario Strait. It has a glassy texture right now, and the San Juan ferry is approaching the dock. The C-dory will get you there dry, but slower than a deep vee hull. No doubt, the C-dory and the Arima are fuel efficient...

    HOW TO REMOVE 3M 5200

Have done this several times. Remove the motors now and any rigging in the way ! Debond works great. Start along the top horizontal surface, squirt the debond along the caulk seam, then using wood wedges start at a corner by pounding in the wedge, squirt more of the debond while cutting caulk...

    Need electrical advise...please!

Know two batteries are the same, regarding voltage and specific gravity readings. That is why I used the word " about" twice. The metering device should not produce a spark. A spark would indicate a "load", by the device. Allowing a battery to go to a low voltage reading, takes some of it's high...

    Need electrical advise...please!

As described, your wand touching should have been fine. If your meter was set to read volts. Check your start battery to see if it is still good, and not shorted out. Charging a really depleted battery with your engine alternater, can be hard on the engine alternater. Fully charge the start...

    Water Tank Thread Sealer

There are very few sealant products that will "stick" to plastics. Here is a product that even " sticks " to Starboard Kingboard. Sudbury Elastomeric Sealant, manufacturer says can be used on plastics. Above or below the waterline. Many boatyards apply 5200 to plastic fittings, but this product...

    Rosborough RF-246 HSV

Rosborough owner looking to downsize, will trade for a 22' Angler or maybe the Cruiser model. The boat must be nice shape, with the later hull shape. The Rosborough is in the water, ready for water demonstration in Anacortes.

    Thank you!

C-Brats is without question the "Best" boater web site on the internet. It is informative, and easy to navigate. And it is a "Great" resource to buyers, owners, and sellers. Thanks to the people who have made it the "best". alan

    Ranger Tug 23

Yes the 23' is part of the Ranger family, and they would be certainly partial to there smaller offering. But, opinions from outside the family would be more valuable and less partial. All boats, are compromises. And that might be the definition of "thoughts about specific boats".
