    Maptech Chartbooks?

    I have a similar maptech product called a chartkit. It isn't waterproof, but it has wider coverage than the chartbook (coverage area "Pacific Northwest". It covers Puget sound and the San Juan's.) One thing I've noticed about the chartkit, and I don't know if this holds true for the chartbook...

    Niamey is the capital of Niger (not Nigeria - thank heaven - Niger is bad enough). I work at the U.S. Embassy here, but the boat will be going to Alaska, which is where I'm from, and where I spend most of my time in the US. It's to give me something to look forward too on my home leaves and R&Rs
