    Bimini Shade Curtains

Zip in Curtains made of Screen are great, especially if you live in an area with lots of mosquitos. Phifertex Plus works pretty well at keeping the blood suckers out as well and provide plenty (95%) shade but blocks almost as much breeze as Noseeum screen. Regular phifertex (75% shade) is a...

Solar install on boat under cover...

I am going through the same process right now of installing a system on my Tomcat so we can anchor out longer without starting the engine. We use a lot of electrical power stuff on our boat. From what I understand, putting the controller as close to the batteries as possible and in the dry...

    Table Cover and Flooring Options

I had the same challenge on my Tomcat. I ended up using Formica for the galley, the table, and the small toaster/Microwave counter aft of the settee. I even had enough left from the remnants I got for $20 to go under my removable helm seat for extra prep area and an on deck cutting table. It...

    TomCat

Hey John If you decide to get a bimini or complete camper enclosure later you can order it from King canvas in Seattle. They used to make it for C-Dory and have the templates. I am not sure if they still do. I got a complete enclosure last year from them and they were pretty easy to deal...

    New Prop-engine sync off?

Hi all ...help, I need some consensus I just went from 3 blade stainless steel props to Solas aluminum 4 blade props on my Verado 150's on a Tomcat. They do seem to let me plane a at lower speeds but when I turn the "auto Sync" on, I find one engine is running about 30-40 rpm's lower than...

Fitting the Standard Garhauer Davit for lifting a dinghy

Bob...Nice job. The bar on the dingy is the solution I have been looking for since I did not want the boom to be too high above the boat. Was there a reason you set the bar beam wise verses forward aft? Also doe the bar have any impact on the radar? again...nice job
