The custodian at my school had bets on Seattle, Pittsburg, & Carolina for the Super Bowl. He is up some $ now, more if Pitsburg wins, even more if Seattle wins! I might have to check out his bets for next year....
Hi it's janet again! I will be happy to make the reservations for Poulsbo. the cost is $15 per boat, and that includes shore power. Should I go ahead and book it for Mar 10th or are we still choosing between the weekends of the 10th and the 24th?

Janet here... Who's up for a March get together at Poulsbo? We're thinking the weekend of March 10 - 12 if that works for everyone. We can reserve slips at the marina, ($15 per night) if we have 15 boats. Here's the link for details on the marina:

Hear, hear. Great time. It is a great chance to put faces to boat names and e-mail addresses. Love looking at all of the boats in various stages of completion. The "garage sale" was much fun as well. R-Matey took many pictures, hope they will post soon.
I just heard another reason to be nice to Canadians - they're rich! The oil sands of Alberta may be a bigger supply than the middle east reserves, according to recent US news. Production could be significant within ten years?
Personally, I like them Canadians any way, they are allot like...

Most of our "taxi" work is to the San Juans from Anacortes. 20 minutes when calm, 30 when more rough. Six adults, two 14 year old boys, a 15lb turkey + stuffing, and other assorted food items (4 pies!) and overnight gear. No trouble getting up on step. 18kts for part of the trip, 14 for the...
Took the boat to Center Island Friday for another Turkey Dinner. (I never tire of turkey, mashed potatoes, etc.) Two clear but windy nights, days were calm and beautiful. Crabbing was fair - the commercial guys were out in force in the area. San Juan crabbing will remain open (sport) through...
We use the "bunk seat" all the time. Tomorrow we will have 8 in the boat as we cross Rosario - four on the bunk, two on the bench on the galley, one standing, and the pilot. We use giant Costco pillows for back rests. Not quite as good as the fishtales couch set-up.
