    HHO (Brown Gas) modification

Case in point... Harley dealers were forever blasting the thought of (owners) using synthetic oils in their engines...UNTIL...they had their name on the quarts...now it's RECOMMENDED by the dealers because 1) It has their name on it. 2) It generates more profit than regular oil with their name...

    HHO (Brown Gas) modification

I'm assuming that this system is using charged SS plates to generate hydrogen, I've sold hundreds of SS plates (especially when gas was over $4) to inventors as well as DIY guys. I've heard stories of damaged 02 sensors, idiot DIY's catching their garages on fire because they wanted to see how...

This looks like a deal on an 87 22 Angler (west coast)

Good idea! I'd be interested if I had the time to go west. Sounds like a perfect candidate for an Armstrong bracket/close the stern project!

    Big White Truck

Don't buy a truck until you fix your Google! I made that mistake, and bought a gas F250/ 5.4/ 4wd that wouldn't pull a greasy string out of a cow's butt...gets a whopping 12.4 mpg hwy (not towing)....and I bought it 3 months before they started giving them away. It does ride quite well, it's...

    Honda gearcase claw washer corrosion????

The claw washer is item #18 in the pic...end nut is #7. The claw washer has tabs that bend outward to "lock" the end nut in place. Both of these mount in the gearcase...not ON the prop shaft.

    Honda gearcase claw washer corrosion????

Saw a Honda lower unit on the block at a local mechanic's shop. The claw washer had all but disintegrated and froze up. Looked bad, and the mechanic told me that it was due to being left in the water, and that Hondas were bad for this. So...while changing my props I checked mine...port engine...

    C-Dory Sightings

Saw a 2004 25 Cruiser in a very nice private covered slip on Lake James here in western NC. Saw it friday, no name, not even registration numbers...went back by on saturday and the owners were working on the slip. Didn't get names, but nice folks!

    140 hp on 22c

I'll help with the gas if I can ride and throw too! It ain't just the snowbirds either...we have a HUGE "No Wake" sign at the campground...even idiot campground residents pay it no mind. Jet skis are the worst offenders.

    Prop DIAMETER

...and that's why I typically start my daily reading by going to Captain's Cat's profile page and clicking "find all posts by Captain's Cat" There really should be a law against going through a single day without at least 3 good laughs!

    Prop DIAMETER

FWIW.... Switching from 11.25 x 13 to 11.625 x 13 props on my twin Honda 45's reduced my WOT RPMs to 5500 (down from 5900) and this was VERY lightly loaded. No speed info as I forgot my GPS.

    Kayak advice needed...

Paddle enough while paying attention to the use of your torso, arms, and shoulders, and you'll develop a habit of doing so. Then develop a rhythm, which will also quickly become a habit. When all of this falls together...you'll be miles into a paddle trip, enjoying the scenery, getting some...

    Bunk guide-ons

I can see how they would work fine if the stern is the widest part of the boat...but the CD 22 is 11" narrower at the stern than the widest part of the boat. (I assume the goalposts are at the rear of the trailer) Maybe I'm missing something. I used the goalposts on my old 17' fishing boat, and...

    Bunk guide-ons

Well Marc, the PVC posts are great for backing an empty trailer, and mounting lights on, but only give a visual aid for centering the boat. My bunks pretty much physically center the boat.

    Bunk guide-ons

Do I understand correctly that they won't stay tight where they are mounted to the trailer?
