As long as we are talking batteries. Does the engine automatically recharge the battery when in use or does it simply maintain the charge that you started with? How long would you go between trips before considering to put on the charger to bring the batteries up to full charge?

Hemingway Yes the blue does scratch. Seems like I find a new one every time I go out. I am going to need some touchup paint. Other than that I do like the blue and white color scheme.

I did about 20 miles on this still very new C-Dory 16 Cruiser. Leaving Wednesday morning for a week in Beach Haven NJ trailering the boat. Looking forward to getting on the Lewes Cape May ferry across the Delaware Bay. Maybe next time I'll be brave enough to C-Dory across the Bay.

I have a new 16 Cruiser and though I do not plan to "sleep" on it, the space in the V-Berth comes in very handy for storage. To me (just my opinion) but the Cruiser seems more finished. The angler model while it provides more space in the back looks pretty basic in the cabin.

My 16 Cruiser came with a silver steering wheel. I purchased a stretch rubber steering wheel cover in black then used standard tennis racket grip tape in black. Wheel feels comfortable and I just think the black looks better.

The 16 Cruiser is pretty light so pushing it off and pulling it back on with a rope is pretty easy. I do hate the slippery algae at my feet at the boat ramp. I have to invest in some felt soled sneakers. Yesterday I had to load in a cold pouring rain which came out of no where.

The solid color hull is an option. I happen to like the blue. I noticed my first scratch yesterday, tried one of the scratch remover products. It did a fair job. There are probably better ones on the market.

I see a lot of C-Dories and C-Brats over and over. Is this completely random or something you have to voluntarily include your photo?
