What to buy Walker Bay or older Avon?

Thanks for the feedback. I went with the older Avon. The owner dropped the price a bit. It came with well crafted plywood inserts and pair of custom made oars. Our lab gave it a passing grade. Even with the soft bottom, it rows way better than our other inflatable. It fits well our 22...

    kayak racks

JaKE B. Wrote.... Check out the one and only photo in Lately . We also use a pool noodle to keep the kayaks off the roof. We thought of racks but this would limit us from placing our dingy up on the roof.

    kayak racks

We like simple as well. So for our kayaks which are 17ft and 14 ft, we use canoes straps and those foam blocks you can get from REI or Mountain Equipment Coop. I was worried about wind but we have not had an issue. Mind you we do watch our weather. [/img]

    Princess Louisa Inlet

We are looking to make a run to P L as well. How much fuel is required? Our plan is to fuel up at Egmont. We run a 22 powered by a Honda 90 with the typical dual tank system. Thanks .....PvL

Strange blue grey spots/mild afte winter storage

We have our 22 cruiser out of winter storage and are doing the usual spring clean up/ service stuff. We had the boat covered in a large blue tarp and it seemed to come through winter just fine. However I am noticing blue grey spots on one side of the boat, the starboard side. At first I thought...

    1997 22' Cruiser - Replacement Ice Chest?

We are seriously considering the Pelican coolers/ice chests which come on three sizes: 65q, 45q and 35q. Our thoughts are using 2 of the 35s which can be moved around our 22. Has any one used these?

    New Lazarette Covers

We love our 07 22 crusier. As noted the rear hatch covers leave a lot to be desired. If anyone is putting in a group order, we would be interested in two of the newer larger covers.

Choice of kicker size for a 22' Cruiser?

I had the same question last spring. I have a 22 cruiser with Honda 90. After reading comments on the C-Brat website and talking to Les Lampman, I went with a 15 HP Tohatsu long shaft manual start with charging capabilities. Cheap, reliable and light. Les did suggest electric start but I...

Price of a 2003 9.9 Merc long shaft excellent shape?

I have come across a 2003, 9.9 Merc long shaft in great shape. Not much use and never in salt water. What is a reasonable price? The fellow wants $1700.00. Are these Mercs made by Tohatsu as the new Mercs? How easy is it to add charging capabilities?
