Swim Step for Twin Engine 22 Crusier

Been searching thru the posts for a picture of a swim step that someone had installed a while back. But can't seem to find the boat name or right post. I think they even told where they bought the smaller version. Anyone remember that one. Thanks Jim

    Crossing Lake Michigan

Living in WI. and having friends in Michigan, I have been looking into a possible lake trip from Manitowoc to Ludington. I know the ferry runs from these ports as well. Question is, has anyone done this in a 22 crusier? And does anyone know of a place to store the truck and trailer while on this...

    Windlass Install

Thanks and I'll do that, Being a Electrician and working at a large factory allows me to pickup scrap wire very cheap. I won't have a expence problem with that. With a single 50 honda I have noticed when the first mate is up front I seem to pickup a little speed and the nose doesn't ride as...

    Windlass Install

I will be installing my new Quick Windlass on Dutch Treat tomorrow and was considering installing a Optma battery up in the nose to add some weight up front as I don't have trim tabs. Has anyone ever done this before. I would have very short leads to the windlass and when I add the second honda...

    Twin Honda Controls

On a recent visit with Gary on Minny Swan, I noticed that the seat was offset toward the port side to install the duel controls for the honda's. Is this a must do in all twin installations for our 22 cruisers or are there smaller controls available? Just like to keep the seat where it's at if...

    need help honda 90

Jim here, I recently had an issue with a engine that would not fully rev and peak out on the top. I found a small grain of carbon between the electrode and tip of the spark plug. This has happened before at 2000 feet and required a emergency landing. But something to check. Also I was told by an...

    Port Side live well drain

Not sure yet what we might do with it but the fish got loaded in and put on ice last time out so it might be a fish tank/bait/well you know. I will be doing more camping/fishing as time permits in the future but for now I just might wait and see. Thanks for the comments. Jim

What is the preferred way to drain this well. Add a thru fitting into the splash well or out the side of the boat. Jim and Julie on Dutch Treat

    On board in a thunderstorm

Thanks for the info, Were looking forward to many happy nights enjoying the eveings. I thought if the weather was brewing and it looked like a storm, one could pull the boat out if that's available but I would not always have that option handy. Thanks
