As a new C-Dory owner and looking forward to overnight camping, Any suggestion on where is the best area to move to in the event of an overnigt thunderboomer? Close to shore, or stay anchored out in the bay? Jim & Julie

I was considering a Garmin 172C for my 22' cruiser and will be crusing the Great Lakes as well as the Mississippi River around WI and MI. What would be a good data chip to use in addition to the standard data that come's with the 172? JL on Dutch Treat.

I just did some checking on this and Diamond Antenna makes a HF antenna for boats, and Comet makes the 2 meter antenna which needs no ground plane. N9UHK

Just picked up my C-Dory a couple weeks ago. Have not had it out yet due to 25 inches of new snow. Bummer. Sounds like a intresting trip. Can't commit yet but were contemplating.

Is there a way I can edit my username, In the profile section I can change everything else but my username. Any help?
