Mason--- I see you are from the Memphis area, I will be in the Kentucky Lake area, probably around mid June . I don't have a 22' cruiser but I can at least let you try out the 16' cruiser and it won't cost you anything. Send me a private e-mail if you have any interest. Rich---...

    16' Cruiser questions

Great pictures Chuck--- It is true (one picture is worth a thousand words), I agree 2 people or 3 at the max. and this would have alot to do with the size of the person, (like El & Bill) and the amount of gear. I prefer the cruiser mainly for the extra storage and head, and you can sleep on it...

A tale of Woe, not all boater are as friendly as C-Brats

Hey- lets call a spade a spade, name the club and the name on the offender's boat, the husband still shouldn't have sat in his boat and watched you without asking if you needed assistance, they are not really boaters, they are lounge lizards, who probably can't get out of their own slip. They...

    Halcyon News

El & Bill--- Great job, your info will help me this fall on the Rideau canal, what is next? The canals of France? Barbara and I had rented a 42 ft. canal barge a few years ago in central France and did see some rentals that were sort of a cross between a C-Dory and a Fisher motor sailor, they...

I just ordered a Cape Cruiser

Bill---- I'm sure you will enjoy the new boat, from what I have seen it seems to be a pretty good boat. The blue hull should be interesting, You must have ordered it through Steve in Orange county. I'm planning on going down for an inspection of the model that they have on the floor in the near...

    Halcyon News

Hi El & Bill--- I can't believe that they finally got around to putting the c-dory article in the news! What has it been 6-7 months? By the way Barbara wants to know where El got the beads. Rich

    The Wanderers

Wanderer- I was wondering if you were still wandering. Haven't heard from you since you published those great pictures of the Erie canal last year. They were sure useful to me on the fall canal cruise. Rich

    C-Ranger 25

Thanks Sea Wolf & Norm--- the information has been very helpful. The C-25 Ranger just seems like a bigger and heavier boat overall, which dosen't hurt a bit, unless you are doing alot of towing. Rich

    C-Ranger 25

John---- thanks for the info, I just sold my saiboat and was really looking at the C- Cat-25,but this boat looks very interesting, the Alaskan 24 dosen't excite me very much, because it seems to look top heavy from the side views. Thanks again Rich

    C-Ranger 25

Just curious--- how does the C-Ranger 25 compare to the Alaskan 24 (murphy) that was built in the 90's? I know the beam is 6" wider and probably 12" longer, but they seem very much alike. Rich

    16 foot angler vs cruiser?

Which ever model you decide on, besure and get a stern room or at the very least a good strong bimini top, this will surely make any crossings alot more comfortable.---- Rich

    16 foot angler vs cruiser?

Shawn & Marcy---have you heard from anyone with a 16' Angler? It wouldn't hurt to get a different opinion, on the two models? There are a few of this model that use to be pretty active on this site. Rich

    C-Ranger 25

Hi Art-- if you are going to see Jeff on Monday, please ask him about the statement in the brochure. Thanks Rich P.S. I had a Grand Banks 32, that really only slept 4 comfortably, but it would party 20-25.

    C-Ranger 25

Hi Sea Wolf--- Yeah, I hear what your saying, I also have a 30' sailboat that is SUSPOSE to sleep 6, but I wouldn't want that many on board at one time. What I'm looking at is the information from C-Dory on the C-Ranger 25---- that basically states, a semi-planning, trailerable hull, with...

    16 foot angler vs cruiser?

Shawn & Marcey--- I forgot to mention my thoughts about your question on pricing. The 16 Cruiser is higher priced than the Angler to begin with, so this may hold true on resale also. Alot would also depend on the type of equipment on the boat. I have owned several boats( 50 or more), and I...

    C-Ranger 25

Congratulations to all on your new Ranger 25's---- I have looked at the line drawings, but I cannot figure out how it can sleep 6 comfortably? Can anyone who has seen this boat advise me. The floor plan seems very similiar to the C-25, which only sleeps 4 at best. Thanks Rich
