Thanks Sea Wolf & Norm--- the information has been very helpful. The C-25 Ranger just seems like a bigger and heavier boat overall, which dosen't hurt a bit, unless you are doing alot of towing. Rich

John---- thanks for the info, I just sold my saiboat and was really looking at the C- Cat-25,but this boat looks very interesting, the Alaskan 24 dosen't excite me very much, because it seems to look top heavy from the side views. Thanks again Rich

Just curious--- how does the C-Ranger 25 compare to the Alaskan 24 (murphy) that was built in the 90's? I know the beam is 6" wider and probably 12" longer, but they seem very much alike. Rich

Which ever model you decide on, besure and get a stern room or at the very least a good strong bimini top, this will surely make any crossings alot more comfortable.---- Rich

Congratulations to all on your new Ranger 25's---- I have looked at the line drawings, but I cannot figure out how it can sleep 6 comfortably? Can anyone who has seen this boat advise me. The floor plan seems very similiar to the C-25, which only sleeps 4 at best. Thanks Rich
