    HONDA 1HP & AC

Hi Hank, did you mean 1Kw generator or 1 horsepower? Normally, generators are not classified by horsepower. There have been numerous discussions regarding a 1 Kw gen running a 5,000 BTU A/C. If I remember correctly, the consensus has been that a 2 Kw gen is needed for anything larger, like...

Tohatsu 6 hp as Kicker for 22

Good Evening, Folks. The Nissan and Tohatsu are the same motor. They are both made by Tohatsu and badged differently. (Think Chevrolet and GMC Trucks). I have a 6 hp Nissan on for my small boat. It runs great. :thup Just make sure that you change the impeller annually. :disgust

    Snoqualmie Flood

Hi Pat and David, I am glad that everything at the Brewery is OK. Having never been to that area, I do not have a clear picture of how all of the properties and infrastructure sits compared to the watercourses. Being in publc safety, I fully understand and have seen first hand too many times...

    1/2 ton vs. 3/4 ton

Dene, When you say the combined weight will be 8,000, do you mean just the truck and camper? Or do you mean including the boat and trailer? I hope that you mean 8,000 just for the truck and camper. If that is so, I think that your projected weight at 8,000 for the truck is a little light...

    The News from Here

Hi Steve, after having watched the media butchering and sensationalizing the wildfires for years here in CA, I have decided that you cannot trust the media on any story. It will always be slanted and blown out of proportion.

    16ft cruiser offshore

Hi Psd, there was a fairly lengthy discussion on the 16 and its ability to work the Channel Islands in So Cal several months ago. You might try to search the archives. If I remember the consensus correctly, it was that you could do it if you picked your days and times of days closely. You...

    Pretty good deal ...

The bidding closed w/ one bid from a person w/ no feedback history. The final bid was $13,250, which did meet the reserve. Less than 50% of original price in 5 model years. Interesting stuff. As a comparison, the C-Dory in the Portland area has a similarly equipped 1997 for $12,750.

    Sealegs, not what you think

TR, they do not offer a four stroke outboard until you get into the bigger boat. Your choices are a two stroke Yamaha or E-Tec. The website led me to believe that it is a weight thing.
