    Loose steering wheel

The wheel can move forward and back about an inch, and we're unsure if this has been the case all along and we're just noticing, or if it's a problem. Thoughts, experience, help appreciated.

    Helm seat question

I know I've seen this before, but can't find it. What I want to do is either replace the helm seat or modify it so the back will fold down flat, giving me added counter space in the galley when I need it. In looking at the seat, it seems to me it might be possible to remove the back and...

    Grill placement and camperback configuration

I got a grill for Christmas, and need to be thinking about where to install it. This year I'll probably be getting a camperback, too. Any thoughts about where would be the best place for the grill and also the best configuration for the canvas as regards the grill?

22' C-Dory photos at Columbia River

Since the latest issue of Soundings had a photo (illustration of a following sea) apparently taken from that great series of photos, I wanted to send friends a link to the series, but I'm having trouble finding it. Thought I saw it in the Photos section, but not sure where. Any help appreciated!

    Our first season is over

We'll be hauling C for Two tomorrow and bringing her home for the winter. Summer seemed way too short, and already I can't wait for spring! I'm debating whether or not to get shrink wrap, or just use a tarp. Does it matter? Opinions/suggestions are welcome, with thanks.

    A question for sailors ...

... and former sailors. As I recall there are several C-Dory owners on this site who used to own sailboats. A neighbor who is a long-time sailor saw my 22' Cruiser last night for the first time, and commented "That's the kind of power boat a sailor would buy." He meant it, and I took it, as a...

    Hello!

Just wanted to introduce myself, since I've been lurking for some time and decided it was time to join in. My husband and I are retired and live in southern Maine, near Casco Bay. At the ripe old age of 61 I've taken what is for me a huge step and bought a boat. It's a 22' C-Dory cruiser, and...
