We’ve trailered our boat various places over the years but lately it’s getting more stressful and tiring. Do any C-brats know a good boat transport company on the east coast? We’re in Florida and hope to cruise the thousand island area in august.

    The marina at Ortega landing

We've been cruising the St John's and anchor most nights. We pulled into this marina on the Ortega river and are getting spoiled real fast. Hatch leak

We thought the boat was ready to go until we had a heavy driving rain and realized we have a leak around the Bomar hatch. Although I'm not sure I think the leak is between the deck and hatch and not between the cover and the rubber gasket. I guess this means removing the hatch and rebeding...

When they fixed it i was told to avoid the alcohol and it's been running fine. Now no more gas without ethanol. What...

    Another trailer question

On our recent shake down cruise beside the bunkboard carpeting failing, the brakes locked up in reverse when we backed into a large shallow pot hole at the old ramp.It backs up fine on level ground so can I assume it isn't the reverse lockout solenoid malfunctioning?Any suggestions? It's a...

    Bottom paint

We hope to start the loop from Florida in April. We've never had the boat in salt water for any length of time. Should we use anti-fouling paint to keep barnacles etc. at bay? Does it work to just jump overboard occasionally & clean the bottom? Thanks for any info.

    condensation in V berth

When it's cool we notice condensation on the top of the V berth in the morning. Anyone know how to prevent this? It looks like the new Venture 23 has an interior covering over the glass.Maybe this will prevent it but I hope moisture doesn't occur under this covering. Thanks for any input.
