Hi Andy, thanks for that info. I thought someone must have figured out a way to get cover off by now. I'll give it a shot over the winter, before i put everything back in place. Have a great winter. Jim

Fuel pickup is clogged in tank. Not Switch

Thanks for the comments Bob. From what I'm told we don't have ethanol in Nova Scotia gas, at least with high test, which i run. I also drain the tanks ever year hoping it pick up any water that may be in them. The boat is in a garage and there is heat in it in the winter. I'm going to change out...

Fuel pickup is clogged in tank. Not Switch

Hi Barry, that is just what i did and it's clear now. I first tried to pump gas back into the tank via the pickup fitting, but it did not work. blowing air down the line did the trick. Now that i have everything apart, i'm going to change out the fuel lines with new ones as these are over ten...

Fuel pickup is clogged in tank. Not Switch

I figured out that the starboard tank fuel pickup is clogged. so i want to remove the pickup and check it out. Questions: How do you get the tank covers out? I've been able to slide them to the side, but can"t get them out. Is there some trick, like prying on one side or bending it so you...

Can't get any fuel out via the Fuel selector switch.

Hi Bob, thanks for the reply. The filter is good as i essentially went around it and tapped into the supply that goes directly from the valve. Based on that, i think i will take the starboard cover that hides the valve off and see what i have. Hopefully its something i can blow out or snake...

Can't get any fuel out via the Fuel selector switch.

Has anyone had the three way fuel selector switch fail. I was just draining my fuel tanks, and my external fuel pump stopped pumping. The pump is fine, and I traced the issue back to the fuel line that comes from the selector switch to the fuel separator. Before I start taking everything...

Anyone install a small arch with rocket Launchers 22 clasic

Thanks for the ideas guys. I actually have the grab rail rod holder on the side if my 22. My girlfriend does not want them on the top rails as she thinks it may interfere with moving alongside the bow of the boat.. The other two options look close. I may go with the direct mount or still poke a...

Codes for a Honda Tach,Hr Meter model 37253-ZW5-010ZA.

Hi Thataway, i have a scan gauge 2 that i use for my car that plugs into the ODB II jack. I'm would think i need some type of conversion plug to read the codes from the outboard. I heard that most of these engines are really Honda car engines converted to outboards, so maybe the codes are the...

Codes for a Honda Tach,Hr Meter model 37253-ZW5-010ZA.

Thanks Boris. as I've only had this boat two weeks and taken it out once i'll have to see what else is going on. I may try to hook it up to the nema 2000 interface and my e800 ray marine and see if the tach is right. I'm assuming this 8 means something, maybe change the oil at 100 hrs, or...
