Thanks guys, that makes me feel a little better. But after researching this a little more last night (and getting worried), I have to ask: what happens to the air in a filter that you don't fill with gas or bleed?

after searching for Racor for another problem/question. But, I will say that I was JUST barely able to pry my metal bowl away from the filter this afternoon on the boat. Did not have to resort to the vice (11 miles away), but was one step away.

Removed 25 screws from the roof of XerxSeas that were holding on various brackets and whatnot under the old regime. 4 of the screws were stainless steel. 3 needed to be cut off with a hacksaw. The wife, looking on from the office window, says "that roof looks a lot better without all that...

Does anyone have any photos of overhead shelf (above the helm station) installed in a Classic (without the raised roof)? I've been looking unsuccessfully thru the different photo albums. Would like to see check for any last-minute visual ideas before I start cutting myself.
