    BayStar Maintenance Issue

I had a steering cylinder rebuilt at a local hydraulics shop. It has been working fine for several years since. It had a small leak. Much less expensive than replacing the system. I did have to remove it and then bleed the system when I replaced it. Steve

    The Passing of an Icon

Very sad to hear about Bill. I was also influenced by Bill and El's writings before buying my C-Dory. We attended a few early events with them and then the Western Loop event in 2008. I think it was 2018 when we went to Denver for a non boating event and realized they lived in the area. We were...

    13 ft Heavy Duty Kaboat

Hi Guys, I do have the lifting davit and crafted a mount to use it on the side of the boat for lifting the Kaboat on top. There is still some manual effort in moving the boat on land, such as putting it into the back the truck and storing it. I will carry it in the truck when trailering. Not as...

    13 ft Heavy Duty Kaboat

I recently purchased a 13ft Heavy Duty Kabot. I like the boat with the larger tubes and more chambers, but - After inflating and putting it on top of my 22, I feel it is too heavy for me deal with. The return shipping and re-stock fee is almost not worth returning it. If anyone has been...

    Element fire extinguisher

As with most safety items there are many views and things to consider. The Element looks good for longevity and easy to store, but you might not want to get rid of the traditional fire extinguishers. Another view here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Oy9qD-W58g Steve

    Angola Canvas Kudos

Bringing this back up. I purchased a cover from Angola many years ago and recently mailed that cover to them as a pattern for a new cover. This year the experience is different. I had to call to find out if they had received the cover I mailed and the pictures of changes on my boat I emailed...

    22 Cruiser prop options

Sorry I don't remember the RPM numbers with he props. It has been over a year ago that I last ran that prop. The 19 prop is the one that needs the hub insert to fit the different motors. Steve

    22 Cruiser prop options

I have a Turning Point 21431930 - 4 blade 13.9 x 19 that I tried on my CD22 Suzuki 90. I liked this prop at first but when I loaded up and went on a trip I found it was too much. I switched to a 3 blade 13.9 x 17 that works better for my boat. Don't know what shipping would cost, but it's like...

    Boat cover/Protection during transit

ATPNW, I have one of the Budge covers, have had an Angola cover, and a local custom cover. The Budge cover is okay. It's heavier and not as nice as a Sunbrella cover but the price is much less. Mine is 2 1/2 years old, and still in one piece. I do get a dust that seems to come off the surface...
