I have no experience here but I would choose to have a fire blanket handy and use that first as opposed to the typical fire extinguisher putting white powder over the whole cabin. Halon fire extinguisher a good choice but not sure of their availability and cost. Jay

Lexan would be a better choice than acrylic. Hard to break, not that much more expensive, usually easy to get locally and probably a lot more scratch resistant than an acrylic. Jay

2002 model had a funky twist nut that was hard to tighten. I threw the nut away, replaced it with a pipe coupling with the same thread as the twist nut, drilled and tapped the coupling and screwed in a wing bolt the held the original strut by friction. It worked well and still works. Jay

Floating but somewhat jammed between the two inwales. In some rough seas on Lake Superior the boxes would slide some but slid much more when trailering and having to do a sudden stop. Jay

My take. Lots of added storage, seating bench and sleeping bench if a pad is added; limited foot space. Boxes are a perfect fit - lockable Cosco (not Costco) boxes. Can't find the boxes on the web but I will check model number next time I'm at the boat if you want it; just let me know. Plywood...

How did you clean your fuel tanks? Just use a tube through the pickup tube hole, swish around a solvent, and suck out the tube with a fuel compatible pump or just turn the tank upside down and slosh until it all dribbled out? Where did you get the new pickup tube? Thanks, Jay
