I have decided to put my beloved 1999 22ft C-Dory on the market for $21000. I want to find a good home for "C-Way", and hope the new owner will enjoy the vessel as much as Dixie and I have. I will be posting a new listing showing the new price.

    Over filling gas tanks

I purchased additional vent hose, and using a "T", I connected both the tank vents together. I routed the line to a single vent placed as high as possible inside the splash well, and secured such that fuel within either vent line drained down into one tank or the other. When I fuel, I put the...

    2015 C-Brat Calendar

I had been trying the links on page 2 earlier this morning, which noted the 2015 calendar', but at that time there was no "preview" choice. I just tried the same link again and now I get a preview option and can see all the photos. Thanks for the help from everyone. Originally, all the attempts...

I've done everything I can to view the pictures on the calendar after clicking on the link but only get lulu ads for other items. Several posts mention liking the photos on the calendar. How do I view the pictures?

    PROJECT-A-PALOOZA!! - V-Berth Access and Mods

I was wondering about the water you uncovered. Any further insights as to how or why the water got in there? There's the anchor locker drain theory and the long screws securing the brass keel strip and penetrating the hull theory. I had a problem with water oozing out from behind one of the...

    Cap for anchor light housing

I trimmed the edge of a wine bottle cork to fit inside the base. It gives a watertight fit. I store it plugged into a spare 12v receptical when the anchor light is installed.

LaBelle, FL, a real sleeper for cruisers

We had been looking for a good launch site to launch, store the Jeep/trailer, and cruise the GICW. I read a post where someone mentioned leaving their truck/trailer in LaBelle with no problem. We just returned from doing that trip and also had no problem leaving the tow vehicle/trailer at the...

    Your cruising speed?

My 22CD has 2 good cruising speeds: 6.5 knots at 2250 rpm and @ 11 knots at 3800 rpm. We cruised at the higher speed from Daytona, FL to DC and return (and many shorter cruises). Recently we cruised at the lower speed from LaBelle, FL to Tarpon Springs and return. Naturally, the higher speed got...

    AC, Generator, Refrigation installation

PPS: Looking at the photos again, I'm interested in what I can see of the port/co-pilot seat area. Looks like a different arrangement than a typical 1999 22 Cruiser would have. If you have modded it, I'm sure it's got some great ideas built in (on the other hand, it looks like you have the...

    AC, Generator, Refrigation installation

After all the help and advice concerning a generator, refrig and AC install, I thought I would post my final outcome. Mission creep seems to define what has occurred. I had a never used W-M 5000BTU AC and had spent an unbearable hot night anchored out on Fla's ST Johns River. If you have an AC...
  17. The extended run setup requires the fuel to be drawn only 28in, well within the 36in possible lift according to other posts. With the gen in eco mode, the RPM raises very little when the AC kicks on. The gen is very quiet! The original Honda fuel cap was modified by screwing a 1/4in m-f 90 degree fitting into the cap in place of the vent. Atwood sprayless connectors are used on both ends of fuel line and on both tanks. These connectors seal both the tanks and the fuel line when line is removed. The tie down strap is slightly loosened when the gen is running to allow the engine feet to better cushion the gen.
