contact for new or replacement dinette cushions

Dahls Upholstery in Sequim does top notch work for a fair price and they have been around for a long time. If you bring them your old ones they can make new ones.

    Diesel Heater Conversion.

Thanks, I will give it a try and it may help in the short term. I think in the long run the wallas will have to go. It has lasted longer than most at 22 years old.

    Diesel Heater Conversion.

Our wallas diesel stove is 22 years old and still working, but not getting as hot as it used to. We only use it for heating and it never was the best heater. I am thinking about replacing it with a diesel parking heater. I am wondering what size people have been using in their C-Dorys. I am...

Cell Service west coast of British Columbia

Hwy 20 is a nice drive that time of year, Hwy 2 is also a nice drive and goes all the way to Spokane using mostly 2 lane roads. Although they may take a little longer I prefer either of these routes to I-90. You won't be sorry you purchased your starlink mini. It will work well from inside the...

    Slapping

When the sea conditions get rough, my wife will sit at the dinette seat to the rear. Just a few feet to the rear makes a big difference in the ride for her.

New Member-Looking for Storage Ideas 22’

We have a 2004 22 Cruiser with the wood cabinets. I was able to gain a lot of storage using 10 gallon rubermaid totes. They work well for us because we can pack them in the house and then just carry them out to the boat when we are ready to leave on a trip. 4 of them fit nicely under the stove...

    Starlink Internet?

We have the star link mini with 50 gig plan and it has worked well. Most of our use has been traveling in our Roadtrek. On a six week trip to Alaska and back it worked well everywhere as long as you are not blocked by trees. In Canada we had good internet, but for whatever reason we could not...

    Member Location

One thing that I miss about the old site is the General Location of the members that used to be listed but are no longer there. Is this feature something that could be added?

    Cockpit Step

The steps are 15" wide. top is 5" deep and Bottom is 8" deep. They are spaced 12" apart. The bottom step does not rest on the molded step of the C-Dory but is just above it. The gunnel supports all the weight. The sides are 3/4" ply. The top step is 1/2" ply. The bottom step is two pieces of...

    Cockpit Step

These are the steps that I made for our 22 cruiser. We have been using them for around eight years and we use the boat a lot. They make climbing in and out much easier, but They never get in the way when we are fishing. I started with one of these with the idea that it can be used on either side...

It's those damn disc brake calipers again

I have experienced brake pads separating from the backing plate after just one season when using non stainless backing plates and metalic pads. I switched to the stainless version with ceramic pads and no more problems. Yours look to have a lot of corrosion both on the backing plate and the...

    Help: Replacing steering wheel

An auto mechanic friend of mine showed me a trick years ago that has worked on every steering wheel I have ever removed, including my C-Dory. The PB blaster is a good idea, although I prefer Aero-Kroil penatrent. Loosen the steering wheel retaining nut a few turns but do not remove it. Grasp...

    Best Material for C-Dory Cover

Thanks for the input guys. I am leaning towards the Aqualon with plenty of vents. I am sure it will get mildew growth on the outside, as everything does around here if left outside. Since it is water proof I should be able to spray it down with Jomax occasionally to keep it reasonably clean. I...

    Best Material for C-Dory Cover

We have a 2004 22' C-Dory Cruiser that is in very good shape and has always been stored indoors, but things are changing and we have decided to get a boat cover for it so we can store it outside next winter. I talked to Angola Canvas and asked them about Sunbrella and they mentioned that it...

How do you prevent trailer connector contacts from corroding

I spray some of this stuff on mine when they act up and it seems to do the job. Always make sure you have a good ground to the trailer too. https://www.amazon.com/CRC-05103-Electr ... 306&sr=8-3

Enclosing Anchor Locker in 22 Cruiser

I cut out a piece of Sunbrella material and and fastened it with snaps to seal ours off. While not completely air tight it made a big difference. When needed I can unsnap it to deal with any foul ups with the rode. Much simpler than glassing in a hatch.
