10 year anniversary?

I would think that the 10 year of this format of the C Brat group would be correct. The Oct 23 relates to the two moderators going to this server and format. There was a prior server at Microsoft with the same moderator. I am sure that our two Moderators can fill in the data on that and the reason for the transfer. Many of the early members were also active the other C Dory list--the C Dogs. The moderator of C Dogs retired from C dory boating, and that list ceased to exist in Feb 2006 (I bought his C Dory 22).

There was some competition between the two sights, but there was a C Dory forum prior to the C Brats as we know the site today. I am not sure that the date of joining is all that significant--since the first few hundred plus members were mostly already involved with the C Dory family. There were also a few who are "listed" early who never posted, and a few who only posted a couple of times, but may still be "lurking"
In any case we all owe a lot to TyBoo and Da Nag!

Please note the 12th Year Anniversary (this year) for the Catalina Offshore Adventure. This historic event predated the C-Brats and is beyond the 10 year anniversary.
This event was started by Mike Sealife as a C-Dog and he was joined by a few other oldtimers! Mike joins us again this year as a C-Dory emeritus!

The "What's New" option at the sidebar lists new articles from August 2004, dating the list.
Interesting to look at the list of members and see how many you can identify as still around (!)
