15% ethanol in marine fuel

Crazy the way they decide to do things that they know will cause more engine problems also to fuel lines ect. Guess they don't care about the damage ethanol causes.

I have no faith that anything I say matters anymore when it comes to the Federal Gov't. We used to live in a free country. One where laws were respected, our enemies were our enemies and liberty, integrity and honor had meaning. That ended in 2008.

Most Outboard manufacturers state that their warranty is voided by the use of fuel over 10% Ethanol. I'm sure the government will pick up any repair costs caused by the 15 % Ethanol fuel!

Why increase ethanol in gasoline?
Because the federal government has underwritten or
subsidized farmers, with taxpayer dollars, to grow
more corn for ethanol production. At first, that may
not seem too bad (farmers, for the most part, have it
rough) until you learn it takes more energy to get ethanol
from corn than the energy contained in the ethanol itself.

Another US Govt head scratcher is why on earth did Uncle
Sam order a mass of US produced electric cars since electricity
is mostly made from burning coal?

Thankfully, I can easily head out into unsalted Lake Michigan,
find a sandy shoreline to anchor, swim and forget about the world
and its problems.

Aye.

Grandma used to say, "Too much complaining, you become a victim."

My Thanks to Dr. Bob for posting the link to Boat US. Many of us have felt disenfranchised from our government for some time (mine started in 2000) but it serves no useful purpose to just complain. I encourage everyone to direct your comments to the folks responsible and use the link and give input. With Boat US backing and everyone's input, we can stop this nonsense.
