16 Cruiser VHF Radio mounting?

I'd like to move the VHF-FM radio on our 16 Cruiser from her current position on top of the micro-dash to free up that space for a fishfinder and eventually a chart plotter.

Where do you other 16 Cruiser folks mount your's? Link to a photo would be nice. No way to mount it overhead I can determine and it'd end up too close to the antenna if mountes a la 22 on the (non-existent) shelf in the clearstory roof.

This is cross posted on both C-Dory sites, so no need for multiple responses.

I still have a picture on page 1 of the Sea Shift photo album, that shows the VHF radio mounted below the steering wheel on our 16'. It worked well for us there.
