Well shes been in the barn a few years but got her out yesterday. Yep, that last CD 18 Angler built by the Tolands in 1984 is again attached to my 2005 Excursion. SENSEI call as I was enroute back to Bama from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He said...you just bought a boat, here is the address...I told her your on your way. Engine was shot, trailer was pretty bad....and she was covered in FL dirt and a rotten cover....with thorn bushes all around. Then, the total rebuild began. Some $22K later, she was refurbished and some on the site back then followed the process. Sold her after Mom passed away, but had first buyers choice if sold again....and I bought her back again. Health and other issues has had her in the barn in WA for a spell.

Welll….been gone too long I guess and going to have to do some retraining!
Somebody help me stick the last two pics in Freebyrd/C-Byrd album to this link, and let me know what Im doing wrong... I know Im close!

CC Yes Sir those are the ones! I appreciate your assistance.
Good Day Harvey! Nice to "see" you again!
Well I spent a couple hours on each of the C-Dorys...the 22Angler and the 18Angler. Enjoyed a great close to the crabbing season in the 22 recovering the pots n gear....and crab and the boat as a working place is AWESOME!
Potato harvest for storage is on us now...as is mother natures delay of starting the crazy fast digging and hauling until she eases up a bit on the rain to allow us to go play in the dirt.
May end up with the 18 one side/the 22 the other....(WA & TN)… so as I dig this season I have till first of Nov to decide. Had thoughts of selling the 18 as its still very hard on me to this date from the days Momma Byrd and I spent on board watching the late fall early winter bass tournament fisherman "practice" on "HER" lake/Cumberland River. Got a bit weepy just getting the 18Angler washed off after a couple years of dry storage in the barn.
But...if they tell me I have a couple days off in a row one of them will be splashed for some fall Puget Sound waters fun!
