1992 22 Cruiser in VA Recently sold

Anyone from this group buy the 1992 (1993?) 22 cruiser down in VA a week or
so ago? It looked to be in good shape, but only had a 45hp Honda. It
was listed on www.boats.com and some other sites as well.

Trailer...$15K asking.

Sold in 4 days, I think. We had thought about buying it an repowering.

A complete repower with cables, gauges, control, labor, for a 2006 BF90 was going
to run about $10K. Add in trim tabs and I think I had cockpit floor boards on the list,
and we were up near $27K w/tax. Might have been worth it.
 
If you see a C-Dory that is a good buy, you can’t think about it. Someone will come along and buy it while you are thinking about it.

mikeporterinmd – you should have reduced your estimate by an amount the 45 on he boat could be sold for.

That was going to into a secret slush fund (Hi Bon!) to buy a RADAR.

As for thinking about it: We were actively negotiating on another boat
when the one in this thread came up. Not such as easy decision.
Both are good buys.

Looking at the photo of the Shelly-IV it looks like a very nice and well maintained boat. If it checks out, I don’t think you can go wrong with it.
