2023 St. John's River Gathering, Hontoon State Park

Rather than continuing in last years thread, I thought I'd just open a new thread until an event is officially opened.

Since nothing yet posted for next year, thought I'd post this here. If we stay with the routine of first full month of March, that would make the 2023 gathering March 7-9, 2023. Looks like someone already snagged 9A so I just reserved 3A. Everything else looks wide open at this point. Looks like rates went up by a $7/day utility fee. :(
Looking forward to next year, and hearing from Tom, Joyce, Lee and/or Jan about their Great Loop adventure. Colby
 
If it gets any later in March we’ll be in summer 😂

FYI….Just heard the Old Spanish Sugar Mill restaurant at Deleon Springs will be closing effective September 12. After 61 years in operation the State of Florida has decided not to renew their contract and will go with an undetermined concessionaire.

That’s SAD! They did a lot of business and were a fun spot to eat at. I wonder why? If it wasn’t for the gathering, I’d stop spending any of my tourist dollars in Florida! Too many dumb choices by the State!
