When down at the C-Dory Hatchery in Kent, I noteced a bigger C-Dory with a fly/sky bridge! The guys said it was a 2003 26 footer. I looked to see what type of power it had - NONE! It has sat around In CA and sent back) wating for an owner to buy and power it up! (looks like it wil be an out drive!) This was quite a different sight. I dont know if the hull is the same as the old 27's or what. Any of the Brat professionals ever heard of such a craft?

It's a 26 Pro Angler, sat at Guenters in CA for quite a while - I think it's older than a 2003. It was there when I bought my 19, which was a 2002.

Here are a bunch of pics I took when it was there. It is indeed a deep v - I snapped a bunch of hull pics. I was told the guys at Kent were going to remove the fly bridge.

I climbed all over it - it was definitely an interesting boat, but a completely different design from the 16/22/25's...

I have two friends here in Alaska that both have a 26' C-Dory.
One is a ProAngler without a fly bridge powered by a 225 Yamaha OB transom moun ted. It is a charter boat and built approx. 1990. The ProAngler is a dynamite fishing boat as it has a walk around cabin.
The other is an ex charter boat with a full cabin cruiser cabin and standup head powered by a 200 Yamha OB transom mounted. It was built in 1986.
There is another 26' ProAngler in Seward, Alaska with a stern drive setup.

As Da Nag has mentioned this boat was at a dealers for quite awhile. We took the boat back and have added a new 2003 200Hp engine to it on a bracket . I am told that the mold for this boat is not functional any longer so this is the last one.

It is a shame that the 26' will not be built anymore. It is a great performer in rough water. The outboard being mounted on a bracket would be the only change I would like.
It does not have the economy of the other C-Dorys as it is a deep v hull design which of course uses more fuel/power to push. :(

Wow, Da Nag, a few pictures?!? The fly bridge has been removed (top heavy, they said) and there is indeed a new 200 hp Honda on a bracket for power. The cabin is a bit small, but there is a TON of room in the cockpit! With out an IO for power, that area is all storage. It is definitely a different boat.
