30' tomcat

the kid and I went and looked at the summer boss's new boat. The bugger picked up a like new, like just rolled out of the factory new, 30' tomcat for a song. Some guy back east bought it new, rigged it up for charter fishing and then got sick. It sat in a barn for years until it was hauled to a broker, the broker didn't really know what he had, or, how to price it, the boss helped him :) Needless to say, the boss didn't delay in buying it.....my kid had to point out that we paid more for our 22 footer and ask why we didn't get a bigger boat....the turd

The 30 footers are super boats. I think it would nice if you can post a photo of this specific boat. The only ones I have seen in person are the BlackFeather Marine (Juneau) which stopped producing, this June.

I hope that someone picks up the molds again, and restarts production.
 
aw..the Manhattan deal, I'll bet you could just about buy it again for a few beads.....and take overpayments+ back taxes :)

Dr Bob, there was a fleet of old Tomcats parked on the other side of the dock from you at Elfin Cove last summer. I'm surprised you missed them, there's one lodge that has about three or four of them that ties up by the float plane dock. Come summer I'll get a bunch of pics of the two, now unfortunately, both collectible boats.
