We toured the San Juans for our 30th in CAMAMITY.
June 3 was the anniversary and we headed out from Friday harbor to Roche with the intent to look for a little wildlife on the way. We encountered Homeland Security on the Haro straights. They were very pro/courteous and the skipper of the (triple 250 verado?) craft asked if we were driving the white duramax at squallicum... big bro watches.
We tooled around and found some orcas. I've posted some pix in the album (Boi-C-State), but the whale research folks have some excellent documentation of the day at:
