8/5/06 day on the water?

Afternoon puget sound c-dory lovers, I'm wondering if anyone is going to be on the water from Everett north on 8/05/06. I'm going to put the new boat in the water a 2005 22' c-dory and get aqainted with how she performs. It would be nice to give someone a shout if I see them. Dan
 
new boat, maiden voyage, awww, these early early bonding moments are so important to the development of your baby. Should be fun, as the Catdude says, there should be somebody out and about...we'll be along a few days later when the weekend trafic dries up :)
 
Howdy Dan,
We may possibly launch in Everett on Sunday the 5th. We are considering cruising down towards Seattle and hopefully be in the Elliott Bay area when the Blue Angels put on their show for Seafair between 1330 HRs and 1430 HRs. I figure some of their approaches for the Lake Washington performance will occur over Elliott Bay and would be a reasonable place to observe them.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to be too definite with our plans as I don't get off work until 0900 HRs, (providing I don't get any late calls), then drive home, clean up, hitch up, load up, and drive to the Everett launch.
I'll be listening/watching for you. I'll send you a PM now with my pager number so you can contact me Sunday and see if I make it out there.
