SPAMMER! :amgry

What's with Captains Cat SPAMMER post, I've now seen a few times in different threads?

Basil56 "joined" and first posted with a link that was not relevant to the thread. He then posted here. I believe one of our nerds has "unjoined" him, he now appears as a "guest". This happens once in awhile and just annoys me. Somehow I feel better when I do what I did. Sorry if it offended anyone, it was not meant to.

Could have called him a "troller" maybe.

Just seems like you are bringing discredit to yourself....if the guy made a mistake, and learned, and is just joining in the discussion now. But maybe I'm wrong. I just didn't see anything wrong with "nice post". Unfortunately, his post here isn't the one that stood out as strange or "hacked"... I guess I trust the moderators to keep out the rift raft. But at least now I know what it's all about.

How touching! And what a wonderful gift to future generations. Well done and thank you.

Hope everyone here is doing fine! We are still trawler cruising in Florida.

The history of immigrants in the Continental settlement of America, which includes Canada is one that should be told and retold as it has reshaped the world as we know it today.
Your story was so well chronicled that it really is not just your story but a rich slice of history of the struggles our forefathers went the through collectively.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for that and thanks to all for your replies on this thread. In getting the "Mischief" ready for delivery (and then the delivery) to Maryland I had forgotten to reply to all of you.

Thanks again.

WOW :!: :!:

Matt that is incredibly well done. A great story put together with a huge amount of research and documentation and production time. Excellent.

Thanks for sharing that.

That was cool. Susans grand father worked the flying boats before and during the war. They might have know one another.

Thanks Hardee, and Tom: yes they may well have as the guys who were in it before the war started were very much in demand. I was always amazed at how the WWII guys all seemed to know each other seemingly by osmosis.
