...the weather started getting rough...."

Southbound between Skagit Bay and Whidbey prior to making the turn into Saratoga Pass. This was taken on the way back from the FH CBGT. Come to find out that small craft warnings had been issued, but we didn't know. Showed me that the boat could definately handle rougher water, although I've been in way worse. We slowed down and enjoyed the ride. 8) It was fabulously fun and reminded me of my younger days fishing off the coast of O'ahu. No sound, but enjoy anyway.

Yes, I know that area well. When we were newbie boaters four years ago, that was the area where we first ran into any substantial wave action caused by current against wind and it was a little scary for the first time. The waves were probably 2-3 feet, fairly close together but doable. Looking back, I have to laugh a little because we've been in much worse since then. Oh well, there's always a first time.

I'm glad you enjoyed the experience to see how your boat handles in adverse conditions. These little boats sure can handle a lot!!!

Hey Mark

I hoped you waved when you passed by my house, we look onto Elger Bay just south of Camano state park. I get to watch everyone pass by from the deck with a glass of wine in my hand, unless I'm out on the water of course!
