While we have no official privacy policy in place yet, let's just say nobody running this place will ever, under any conditions, provide any information about you to anyone, without your permission in advance. Period.
This includes all of the information in your Profile. Fill out as little or as much as you desire, but realize that other members can see what you put there. Anonymous users can not. Your email info is safe from spammers - see the other announcement regarding this issue.
One last note - many of you have discovered "PM's" - Private Messages. These are very cool; they allow you to send and receive private notes to any member on the board, and view them at this site when you log in. It's important, to me, that everyone understand that these messages are stored on the server, and as such, they technically could be read by those of us with "super powers" (only me, currently). I certainly have no intention of doing so, but just be aware that "Private" is relative...
