Thanks to Flapbreaker, the Jenny B now has a revised, safe, but still very simple and inexpensive shore power system installed. Limited to 15 amps, it's a KISS project that really helps at a marina or even working in the driveway.

Flapbreaker gave me a lead on a combination construction quality portable extension cord which included a duplex receptacle, GFCI, and a 15 amp circuit breaker all in one small yellow box.

Prime model GF200806 is the part number. Several sources if you froogle it or special order it at Lowes. Northern Tool carries it for $39.95.

Marinco makes a 15 amp "Battery Charger Inlet" that sells for under $20 at Overtons.

Easy install. I have photos in the Jenny B album, just know that it's hanging by one screw and needs the bottom screw to align it properly.

Thanks Spencer

Hey, no problem. I received mine in the mail the other day. It's a nice clean solution. I just need to install it now. :thup

I have the same setup and find it serves my needs to a tee. I need to get some pictures of a few projects and update my photo album...just have to find the time...maybe by the weekend.
