April fools but home at last

Anchorage to Seattle in 3 days, return trip 3 and ½ days (4800 miles). The roads where great and I was lucky not to have any mechanical problems. The Friday after my return I was able to clean up the boat and truck and began work on upgrades and mods, then the snow came; April fools a couple of days late. Glad the snow didn’t hit while making the trip, I would have never been able to back the boat up in my driveway-it’s steep.
Nice to have her parked in me driveway at last, the snow will burn off in a couple of days.

Congratulations, Jay, on getting the boat home - that is some serious driving! Sorry to see that Mother Nature played that belated April Fool's prank on you, but good to hear that she cut you slack while enroute. You must be living right.

We'll be looking forward to posts with photos on her new home waters.
