Ashley Lynn's New Digs

on the trailer in the back yard. Now I make a phone call and when I get to the dock she is sitting in the water. When I get back, they take her out and wash her before they store her inside.

We are trying this out for a few months during our peak boating season, might make it a permanent thing. Very convenient.

That sounds nice. With sailboats I've owned in the past the ones we've kept in the water at a marina were used easily 10 times as much. It's nothing to go for a sunset sail after getting off at 7:30pm during the summer. We could never do they putting in at the ramp. I'm hoping though that the C-Dory will be so much easier to launch Vrs stepping a sailboat mast that we'll use it more. If not we'll get a slip a few months a year and keep her in the water. Let us know how it works out. Tganks

It's pricey...there are a few cheaper prices in the area, as low as $9 ft.

The place I am at charges $12/ft , unlimited haul outs each day, wash and dry the whole exterior and inside the cockpit, flush motor. 10% discount if you pay in full.

Also get the use of their showers, laundry and pool.

Going to use it for the summer, move it back to the house in winter.

whats a service like that go for a month? just curious that would be convenient
Jake, we've kept C-Dancer at Twin Bridges between Anacortes and Mount Vernon for years. They do everything that Ashley Lynn's place does, except of course no pool and no showers. :-( I've done most of my boat projects at TB on the work stands they allow you to use.

The main reason we've kept C-Dancer at Tein Bridges is mostly due to its accessibility to the San Juan's. It's a great facility and very convenient. You should look into it.

Boat in marina gets used a whole bunch more . In /out storage here (Naples ) is about $250-275/mo on a 24 month sign up We keep our 23 cape cruiser in the water most of the year we pull it out usually june or july for a few weeks for maintenance

Hi Bob and Jim
We keep Simplicity now at Panama City marina. It's nice cause its a covered slip but also has slings so u can pull boat out of water when not in use.300 a month including electricity. We keep AC on during summer.
Gale force winds forecast for today. No boating this fourth.

Does Twin Bridges charge by the foot? I'm in covered moorage at Friday Harbor and find with the new job I'm not getting to use the boat as much. Need to get closer to home and avoid the ferry trip.

Todd,

The pricing is $265 per month for a 1-year lease for boats up to 25'. Plus an extra $20 per month to store your trailer. Unfortunately it's not as good a deal for your CD-16. Same price for 6 feet shorter. :-(

Still, it's a great facility.

So when I was doing the Panama City Boat Show the C Dory type boat I saw in the covered slip was simplicity !
I was wondering whose it was and now I know .
