Attention C Ranger R25 buyers in waiting

Good news, progress is being made!! I spoke with John Livingston today and was informed that the cabin plug is complete and tomorrow the mold will begin to be made. This process is new to me but I believe I understood him to say that they anticipate the mold to be taken off a week from Friday.
John indicated that they are hoping their first "top on" (my term) sea trial can take place around the end of the month.
Once this mold is made it sounds like the extremely time consuming stuff will be behind them and things can move ahead a bit more quickly. "A bit" being the operative words.
Thought you'd like to hear the good news,
Betsy

O.K., I visited the C-RANGER factory last Friday and had an enjoyable time talking with John and Dave Livingston and crawling all over the new R-25. The interior is not complete and was even less complete at the Seattle Yahct Club parade. They are building the interior and making templates for production. Absolutely an awsome boat. I personally could not be happier with my decisicion to make this purchase. Some minor changes are being made on the exterior as well but they seem confident that it will be completed for the Trawlerfest in Poulsbo. My wife took some pictures that we will try to get posted somehow. I might have to e-mail them to someone with an album.

Russ – if no one volunteers to post the pictures for you, you can always ask Bill to set up an album for you. I am sure he would do it for you, even though you do not have your boat yet. Or you can email them to me and I will post them in my album until you get a photo album. My email address is on my C-Brat card in my album.

We will be introducing the first finished R-25 at the Poulsbo, Wa Trawlerfest June 8, 9, 10th. We have customers, Dealers and magazine editors coming from around the country to have a look. This has been an exciting project and it will be fun for everyone to see the final product. Production will be in full swing by the end of June. Drop me a line and let me know if you will be able to stop by. For those of you that will not be able to make it to Trawlerfest, interior photos will be posted in the next week or so.

Jeff

OK you C-Ranger connoisseurs. By way of sportner (Russ) there are 30 never before seen photos of the C-Ranger in my photo album. The thumbnail will take you to my album and the C-Ranger album is there. Enjoy.

Mr. Sportner -

You'll notice something new in the info to the left of your posts. I think you'll like what I named the album until you get a proper boat name for it!

Thanks for the reports, the enthusiasm and the pictures!!

Well looking at these pictures sure shows you how poor the angle was on the picture that was posted of the opening day parade. The windsheild shape looks totally different and MUCH better! Thanks for the pics!

man, I'll bet you members of the Ranger club are getting pretty anxious, like kids before X-Mass. That's a fine looking vessel.

With the T.C. and the C-Rangers, it seems those C-Dory folks have a knack for turning out really cool boats that have little, or no. market competion

TyBoo Mike, Thanks for setting up my album and the album name. My wife apologizes for not getting some pictures of the cockpit, it is not made for fishing but it can be fished from. Dave, John, and I were all back there and I didn't feel crowded. I'm certain it'll work for Sundowners for two.

She's a beauty....definitely looking good! With those bow and stern thrusters, the earlier concern about a pilot house door to the outside for docking should be a moot issue.

Here is a bigger pic of that view. I assume the plywood is being used to make plugs to make molds for fiberglass components of the interior? I need to get down there again, alas, I don't see it being possible in my schedule...

Ten more photos added. Number 32 shows the interior looking out the front. Page two in the C-Ranger album.
