Bess-C was sold to the first couple that looked at her. Thanks to all of you who inquired about purchasing her. It was a bittersweet feeling to see her go. We had great times on her and will miss her, but it was fun to see the excitement of the couple that are her new owners.

They picked her up on Thursday night at Twin Bridges in Anacortes and took the early am ferry back to Sidney. She is now at home on southern Vancouver Island.

So Bess C went to B.C.? Glad to her you sold her quick. Some one got a hell of a deal. I hope you enjoy your new boat and we see you on the water.

We hope to see you guys out there too. The new boats name will be Bessie, not Bess-C, so we should sound about the same hailing you on the vhf.

Bess-C was a good deal for them and she sold fast. It was good to see her going to Vancouver Island as the waters off of there are our favorites. We got a great deal from Les at EQ when we bought her and passed it on 6 years later.

We only advertised on this site and got many serious buyers, some who said they would take her sight unseen. It tells me that there is pent up demand out there for these boats waiting for the right deal. The boat was priced for an immediate sale in a very down market. No boat is a good investment, but I think that C-Dorys have a lasting appeal and their values will rebound in the next year or two. I lost less percentage wise on her than on my stocks over the last 6 years.
