I will keep the porta-potty between the fuel tanks if necessary. I thought of doing a "hide-a-potty" solution on the starboard just behind the galley window. Perhaps a cooler style with a potty and mini tent in it, and a cushion on top that doubles as a proper seat. My most outlandish idea is to fabricate a vinyl 28"x28"x72"vinyl privacy tent that is semi-permanent in the same area. What is everyone using for multi-day trips? thanks.

Too be honest.. what we use is a rectangular shaped plastic bucket with a tight fitting lid. We keep a 1.75L yogurt container in there for #1. (Peeing over the side ruins the wax job.) For #2 we use the bucket 1/2 full with seawater and snap the lid on tight. We can leave it there for a little while then we run out to sea a couple of miles to let it self macerate and then we discharge it into the sea. Rinsing the containers in the salt water keeps them fresh and it seems to work. Of course if there is an outhouse or toilet on land we will run over in the dinghy and use that. I like the rectangular bucket be cause it is more the shape of a toilet if you sit on it with the corner between your legs.
Funny thing to post but it is a legit question.
I should add for privacy I find if I sit behind the bulk head on the port side, I can open the cabin door and I can do my business shielded to the port by the gunnel and to starboard by the door. The low deck on the Dory is such a wonderful feature.
