As this year draws to a close, I sit here adding up the plusses and subtracting the minuses, I have to admit with some embarassment that, for me 2006 has been, in sum, a solid plus. So, I just want to take this opportunity to thank my wonderful C-Brat family for adding so much to the plus side. I could name each of you but I needn't, you are all included, so, let me say simply, thank you.

Thanks for the lovely thought and I agree with you on the C-brat family adding to my life. However, I'm a little different on how to deal with the plusses and minuses. Here's what I do:
1) I add up all the pluses
2) The minuses that I learned from, I move to the Plus column.
3) The other minuses, I forget about.

That way no matter what happened, the year can only have positive total in the plus column! :wink:

BTW - no need to be embarrassed by a solid plus column - just be greatful.

We just got home after three weeks away. One giant plus is the sight and smell of home... 80º, sunny skies, and the smell of the salt air. We'll finish unpacking tonight and Wild Blue will go back in the water tomorrow.

Every C-Dory owner we've had the pleasure to meet and all the fine folks at the factory go right to the head of the plus column. My thanks and best wishes to all for a joyous new year.

We are home in time to celebrate New Years Eve on Wild Blue - watching the fireworks on South Padre Island and toasting in 2007. In a couple weeks, we plan to be heading out again... hoping to meet up with the C-Brats who are cruising Florida.

Thank you, friends, for making these first few months of our C-Dory adventure so memorable.

I am like Roger in a way. I forget my minuses and just try to remember the pluses. At my age it is not hard to forget and I have managed to completely forget some whole years. However I don’t think I will ever forget the group of people on this forum that I have met in person or just through cyber space. Also looking forward to meeting many of you again and some members that I have only met here, at the Seattle Boat Show and get together.

I hope everyone of you have a better 2007 than 2006.
