I've been prowling the numerous posts on ladders and have yet to see one I consider appropriate for N/W cruising. Rope ladders or aluminum construction are out. :thdown With an average 10' + tidal range and lack of sandy beaches. :sad Our main concern is boarding the boat from the water and then what to do with the ladder. I'm tending towards either a removable side ladder, or a fixed folding stern ladder. :smiled Jack

I installed this stainless steel ladder on the bow of my Tom Cat, for use on the beach at places like Lake Powell.

Thanks Warren, :wink

That model is one of my considerations for a stern mount, but I would like it to stand out farther from the hull. The configuration I really like is made out of aluminum. :sad Maybe I can have it copied in stainless. The Railmaker's in Everett has been really good about things like that in the past. :smiled Jack
