Boat name search

So here I sit in Seattle, getting ready to pack some wheel bearings, close on a lot on SJI, and talk to some folks about getting started on a shop/apt., and I'm wondering how to search boat names on C-Brats to ensure I don't name our new boat the same as someone else's CD.
I looked at the register, but can only search one page at a time, and I loose focus after a page or 2 and start wiring solar panels in my head....
Any help is greatly appreciated!

This doesn't work as well for C-brats that don't post but you can use the google site search at upper left on the main page to search a boat name and see any posts from anyone like named. Going through the pages like you have is the most thorough but it is tedious for sure.

Thanks Greg!
I suppose, to cut to the chase, I want to name the boat "Raven" but add the tag line beneath "Luna-C".
I see there is a Luna-C on the forum, but don't know if the boat is still active....

The luna-c was sold this spring and has not come up to the surface again just yet. There is one NW boat named Raven that I am aware of plus one called Raven Dancer.

If you have a name in mind, you can go to the "Our C-Dorys" link above and then sort the list by vessel name. That way you won't have to scroll much.

Or put the proposed name into the Search in the CBRATS home page banner bar "Search" and see if it pops up anyplace.

Another place to search is in the BoatUS graphics/naming section. About 10,000 boat names there.

Boat names are fun, Enjoy.

Its your boat name it what you want and don't worry about it. I named my boat Susan E for my wife and have ran into at least 4 boats named Susan E. One sail boat, one bayliner, a Reinall and a sea sport. No matter what you name your boat some one already has. So go with what you want and dont worry about it.

There is no limit to the variety of boat names available. Some advice I found when looking for my boat's name was to try saying out loud 3 times in a row, like if you were making a radio call.
