I figured this would be a fun place to put photos and chat on strange boats we see out rambling about the wet world.

This will be a place to post links and photos to these odd ducks.


Here's a website of a fellow in Southeast Alaska that's making aluminum amphibious crafts. He calls them The Salamander. :idea:

Actually, I'm not so sure it's not him. :wink He did move down to SE Alaska afterall. If he cut off his pony tail and grew a beard maybeeee...

And, the name "Richard Trojan" can't possibly be real.
 
Another possibility.....

Look out beyond the "boat" . landing craft, UFO, or.....

Is that Freshwater Bay in the background?

I think I see a couple'a dogs in the belly of the beast.....

And a shiny reflection near the top of the cab......
