bottom paint vendor help

Help! Does anyone know the name of the bottom painting vendor in La Conner that EQ uses and recommends. Les and Kathy told me their name but I've lost their contact info. and EQ is on vacation. I'm in a time crunch and need to get the boat in and out by end October if at all possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mike.
 
I think Action Marine has a outlet near where the boat lift is in La Conner
The guy who runs it is also the Fire Chief. I see a lot of boats on the hard
getting work done. I kinda forget but think its 3rd street. Thats all I

I'm getting mine done this fall too. Just got through phase one of knocking off the big stuff after 3 months in the water. There's barnacles & mussels in my driveway about 3" thick!

La Conner Maritime did my bottom paint and did a great job too. Dunno if this is the outfit Les uses, but it was recommended to me by Master Marine.

What do you guys/gals use out on the West Coast? I used several over the years and the best for New England in my experience is the Petit Unepoxy. I can go two seasons on a mooring with this paint. I powerwash the bottom twice a year (mid-season and at the end) to help keep the growth at bay as well and to maintain the best fuel mileage.
 
Hi Matt. My plan and past strategy is to have the bare hull prepped (chemical and scratched), then several coats epoxy barrier coat. 2 coats of bottom paint goes over that. I've used Petit Trinidad or Micron CSC. I'll describe my usage (6 months water moorage/6 months trailer storage) and go with the vendor's recommendation. They use an aluminum-safe (ie non copper) paint around the motor mounts. Mike.
 
I used Interlux Micron 66 http://www.yachtpaint.com/usa/ on my boat. 5 months moored in saltwater and NOTHING clung to the bottom of it. When it was last pulled from the water, a simple spray from a garden hose cleaned it right up.

It is very expensive and it doesn't work in fresh water. Its the kind of paint that doesn't need movement to work, it is 'self-polishing' and is still effective after a haul-out and re-launch.

Since I don't own a trailer and my boat sits in saltwater 24/7/365 and unfortunately may sit at the dock more than I'd like, this paint works perfectly for me.
