Yep, if you could plan a break down, I would suggest it take place right in the middle of some road construction. Hopefully while your following the pilot car!!!
I speak from the experience we had yesterday returning from Seward. I had previously had the local dealership service the truck which included a fuel filter and they apparently did not check the petcock on the bottom of the filter to determine if it was loose or not. Just a small oversite, but enough to put me into the panic mode when 2 miles of traffic had to be diverted around me, due to loosing the vacuum and running out of fuel.
The good news, we had cell service, the dealership was somewhat helpful, the road crew was extraordinary and my grandson seemed to be intrigued by the whole thing.
Oh yea, the Seward trip was great, we caught fish, enjoyed the scenery and great weather.
